BRP Auto Designs 10" Subwoofer Adapter Ring
The BRP Auto Designs 10" adapter ring is designed to mount the Rockford Fosgate R2D2-10 in the factory Alpine subwoofer enclosure located on the passenger-side rear wheel well.
This allows you to retain the factory subwoofer location and valuable cargo space while upgrading to an aftermarket 10" subwoofer.
Installation Recommendation
For the best possible performance, we recommend applying an appropriate wood caulking or sealant to the back of the adapter ring during installation.
Creating a proper seal between the adapter ring and factory enclosure helps prevent air leaks and allows the subwoofer to perform as intended.

Easy install solid improvement
Came across the YouTube video and have had this on my wish list for quite some time. I replaced by wrangler’s speaker with the MB quart stage 6 sound system. While I love the sound quality, I wasn’t thrilled with their subwoofer. It was a shallow replacement over the stock alpine sub but there’s wasn’t much oomph added. I had more bass coming from the overhead speakers than the rear sub. I finally pull the trigger on the ring and the Rockford fosgate sub shown in the video. Since I already replaced the stock sub with the mb quart sub, installing the rf sub was a simple swap with the added ring. While this new sub isn’t going to rattle the windows even with the mb quart 400w amp, I can definitely tell the improvement. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of no grill. I love the look without it, but I like the practicality since I’m constantly putting things in the back of the jeep. Overall I am very satisfied with the upgrade.
